Dear participant in our survey of “What women want”:

This survey is aimed at creating a comprehensive understanding of the needs of women worldwide.

We are sending this electronic survey to thousands of women around the world, asking them to fill it in as completely as they can and to send it on to ten friends who then ask ten more friends to fill it in. All participants will be entitled to receive a complete copy of the survey summary.

We ask that you find some quiet time to “bare your soul” in the interests of women worldwide. Your answers will be kept anonymous. There is no right or wrong answer. We are looking to hear your most honest and complete thoughts. The objective of the research is to identify key themes underlying women’s aspirations and goals.

If there are any questions that you feel are too personal, please select “decline to answer”. Our intent is not to encroach on anyone’s privacy, but rather to get at the underlying drivers of women’s happiness and to zero in on their unmet needs. The survey should take approximately 30 minutes to complete. If you cannot finish the survey in one sitting, you can leave the survey and come back later to complete it.

The findings from the study will form the basis of a new book on the needs of women. We believe this original work will contribute to a better world and enable a new conversation around hope and happiness.

Please know, that by submitting your responses to this survey you are granting to The Boston Consulting Group, Inc., rights and permission to use and publish your anonymous responses.

Please also know that your participation in this survey is entirely voluntary. If you are not over the age of eighteen (18) or disagree with any of the above, please do not complete this survey. Instead, simply forward this to others who might be interested. If you do submit responses you will be deemed to have agreed to help us.

Thank you for your time and participation. We hope you join us in this adventure.

Sincerely,
Michael J. Silverstein
